Lack of posting does not indicate absence of activity. Just getting into the house was a huge relief. I’m trying to get a few more things handled before winter–making the front yard look less trashy being one. Don’t know if putting a box vegetable garden in qualifies.
This blog is intended to be a loose documentary record of the renovation process of my house. The house is located in the Cleveland-Holloway neighborhood of downtown Durham, NC and was purchased in December of 2008. The house was built in 1920, and at the time of purchase had been relieved of its electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC. I am currently renting a house across the street until I can move in.
best.
